Awarded an entrance scholarship upon auditioning, Laurianne began her training at l’École supérieure de ballet du Québec in the intensive danse-études program. She performed at Place des Arts with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens in several editions of The Nutcracker, and at Salle Pierre-Mercure, where she shared the stage with professionals including Lydia Bouchard, judge on Québec’s Révolution.
Eager to broaden her performing arts skills, Laurianne studied drama in her final year at the Pensionnat du Saint-Nom-de-Marie, graduating with the Hélène Ostiguy Award for theatre. She then entered the Professional Theatre program at John Abbott College, where she played lead roles such as Reno Sweeney (Anything Goes) and Molly Aster in (Peter and the Starcatcher), graduating with the 2020 Acting Award.
Laurianne went on to join UDA and ACTRA, appearing on screen in the TFO series ZIK, in commercials, and on stage at Montreal’s Comiccon and the Segal Centre (Voices of the Pandemic).
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences from the Université de Montréal (Alma Mater Award recipient), studied abroad at King’s College London, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Theatre Theory and Dramaturgy while working toward her main goal: becoming a voice actress.
Her voice training includes classes with Sergine Dumais (dubbing), Marie-Michelle Garon (Atelier Fichaud) and René Gagnon.
