Pierre Cavale

Since graduating from the Montreal Conservatory of Dramatic Art in 1981, Pierre Cavale has continued to expand the range of his practices. First active as an actor, he then evolves successively as a play writer and singer-songwriter. Starting in 1998, he regularly hosts news programs on Radio-Canada across the country. Finally, in recent years, he has been involved as a photographer and filmmaker, while reactivating his acting career. The common thread of all these professions: the human. Whether interpreting a character, conducting an interview, photographing people on the street or on a set, making a fiction or documentary film, Cavale is fascinated by the similarities of the human soul, all origins confused, as well as in front of the infinite diversity of its expressions through the cultures proper to each race, each country, etc.
