Émile Auger (he/him) is a versatile performer combining the talents of actor, singer, and dancer.
Driven by a deep passion for the performing arts, he began his training in musical theatre at the professional theatre school of Collège Lionel-Groulx before further refining his craft in the Honours Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance program at Sheridan College in Ontario.
With this diverse training, Émile has had the opportunity to perform across Canada in both French- and English-language productions. On stage, he has appeared as Aaron in Max and Aaron Write a Musical (Segal Centre), Nutcracker in Jazz Noisette (Jeunesses Musicales Canada), Franz Klinneman in Rock of Ages and Ensemble in Lucky Stiff (Stephenville Theatre Festival), Norm in Let’s Bop! (a workshop of a new Canadian musical, Terrabruce Productions), Isidore Poirier, Me Leduc, and Édouard Cormier in Cordélia (Théâtre Lionel-Groulx), Louis-Paul in Autant s’emportent les gens (TLG), Frank-N-Furter in Rocky Horror Concert Show (TLG), Ensemble in Cendrillon (Conservatoire de musique et d’art dramatique de Montréal), and Chuck Cranston in Footloose (Production 90).
The year 2026 marks a major milestone in Émile’s career. He was selected to join the cast of the large-scale musical production Les Misérables, in which he performs the role of Joly and serves as the understudy for Marius. He will have the privilege of performing on the prestigious stages of Espace St-Denis in Montréal and the Grand Théâtre de Québec. This significant engagement stands as a testament to his exceptional talent and the recognition he continues to earn within the artistic community.
He also completed voice-over training at Studios Syllabes in Montréal, as well as commercial voice training with René Gagnon (UDA Toolbox).
