Actress graduated from the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Montréal, Marcela Lorena Pizarro was born in Chile and immigrated to Quebec at the age of 7. She recently experienced a second exile - in love this time - in New Caledonia where she lived for ten years. A multimorph artist, Marcela Lorena combines a solid training with more than 25 years of experience in acting, voice work and narration, directing and writing. She plays in French, Spanish and English and likes to put her creativity and sensitivity at the service of deep and complex characters. Great traveler she played in North and South America, in Europe, in Africa and in Oceania (New Caledonia, NC).

Passionate and curious actress, indefatigable researcher, she has extensive experience of the stage, voice work & narration and creation. She played in Salvador with Gervais Gaudreault and then in the one woman show, Cadena de Montage, having won the award for best international work in Argentina. On TV, the role of Rafaella Diaz in Four and a half made her known and more recently she played Madame Sécateur in District 31. Marcela Lorena has acted in American film productions embodying leading roles like Mama Delgado in Cutting Edge. In the cinema she was Gloria in Exploding Sun under the direction of Michael Robison. Federico Hidalgo offered him several roles including a leading role full of nuances, Sofia in L'Incrédule. In 2017, she won the performance award at the Festival de la Foa in New Caledonia for the film À nous trois by Sam Cargnelli and played in Tous coupables by Ludovic Hutier, a medium-length film that has won numerous international awards. 

Founder of three multicultural theatre companies, this artist is also a stage director and pedagogue, creator of multiple cultural and artistic education projects at school (elementary and secondary). She creates and leads workshops in theatre, eloquence, reading aloud and creative writing for children, young people, adults and seniors. From 2020 to 2023, she trains in art therapy and co-creates the workshops « Empowerment by creativity », internships and workshops for exploring creativity through the arts.
