Patrick R. Lacharité graduated in 2012 from l’École supérieure de théâtre de l’UQAM. Since his first steps in the professional world, he has worked with many directors, such as Frédérick Moreau, Philippe Boutin, Félix-Antoine Boutin, Geneviève L. Blais and Vincent Pascal, to name a few. He has also collaborated with the collective Projets Hybris on two projects: Youngnesse (OFFTA 2016) and (More) Propositions for the AIDS Museum (La Chapelle Scènes Contemporaines). He was part of director Audrey Rochette’s creation of Cake (ZH, La Chapelle Scènes Contemporaines, Dance Matters Toronto). Drawn to directing, he has worked with young author Sébastien Tessier to create Ma tête est une ruche (La Chapelle Scènes Contemporaines) and with the women from Théâtre Everest for their creation Bâtardes (MAI, Montréal Arts Interculturels). Since 2016, he is the artistic co-director of La Fratrie, a company that produces performative artworks, in both theatre and video.
