Jean-Jacques Desjardins completed is D.E.C in Human Sciences at Cegep St-Laurent and went on to study theatre to fulfill his dream of being an actor. For over 15 years, he performed in various theatre productions, musicals, films and tv shows. Mostly recognize for his character of Martin Jacquemin in Terre Humaine that last 6 seasons on Radio-Canada and also as Émile Nelligan in Rêve d’une Nuit d’hôpital by Normand Chaurette at Théâtre du Quat ‘sous, directed by Gérard Poirier.
In 1990, a new passion comes along, when he becomes a talent agent and associate with Susan Glenn Talent. In March 1993, he starts his own agency JEAN-JACQUES DESJARDINS AGENT. The agency participates in many prestigious productions both local and International with the talent of french and english actors.
